Description
The Cuckoo Clock is a story about mistaken beliefs, how easy it can be for them to form and the impact they can have on you and the people around you.
Cuckoo, the clock, worries that because the old Clockmaker doesn’t want to hear him sing all the time, it means he doesn’t love him anymore. In the story, we hear about Cuckoo’s attempts to be noticed, but the results aren’t quite what Cuckoo expected. Is it too late to make amends? Read our unique story to find out how Cuckoo rebuilds a more positive relationship with the ones he loves by building his own sense of safety and connection and realising that you can still be held in someone’s mind, even when you aren’t together.
Themes: separation anxiety, mistaken beliefs, connection, safety, control and development of empathy and awareness of others.
